Koldov Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 (edited) I had to take my clients off our WSUS server and rebuild it recently and whilst doing so allowed them access to the normal Windows Update route. Quite a few of them including my own machine seem to have picked up drivers (which I know I should have blocked somehow)... However, one of these (a Brother printer driver) is failing to install and retrying on a regular basis - mostly I think because we don't have a Brother printer directly installed on any of these machines (although there are one or two on our network)... I seem to remember in Windows 7 a GUI for Windows Update that basically showed all the updates and you could select a troublesome one and hide it - but there doesn't seem to be a similar mechanism for Windows 10 (unless I've missed it). There is a 'Show/Hide Updates' tool available from Microsoft, but annoyingly of course it doesn't seem to show this particular update ! Edited May 15, 2019 by Koldov
