gwendes Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 Anyone else seeing problems with printing from Google Chrome? We're on 74.0.3729.131 (Official Build) (64-bit) and getting lots of reports of freezing up and crashing. Intermittent, and immensely annoying! We've spoken to Google but no solution offered yet. Happens on Windows 7 and 10.
gwendes Posted May 13, 2019 Author Posted May 13, 2019 Fine here, do you use filestream ? Nope. Seems to work most of the time, every now and then we can get it to freeze up again on a new page. Problem is that we're getting a lot of complaints from users because when something is happening 1% or 2% of the time it happens a lot over 1,000 computers! At an absolute loss for what to try!

fredbayker Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Yeh I've noticed recently that printing PDFs in within chrome through paper cut is ok if you use the chrome print dialog, if you click the advanced button and use the regular windows print dialog, paper cut fails to intercept the job.
Danp Posted May 20, 2019 Posted May 20, 2019 We get a lot of issue printing documents from Chrome. Download them and open in the correct programme and they are normally fine.
