Canon iR-ADV C5535 - poor photo quality

Hi all, I have a Canon C5535 which is used by the Art Dept. The output is very grainy, we found on the printer it was set for TR Photo, we tried all the other settings which showed less grain but a bit blurry and much darker.

 

We also use Uniflow.

 

I am using the PS3 drivers, anyone got any experiance of these printers? They are printing A4 high res images and they look aweful. Only other thing is getting a higher spec printer.

See if there's a PCL driver and see if that makes any difference.
