IT Support Technician – West London

Up to £36,000 dependent on experience + 25 days hols + bank hols

 

Our client, a successful and established managed service provider, requires an experienced IT Support Technician to be based at a school in West London to provide a high standard of IT support to all staff and students, overlay support to partner sites, as well as the day to day running of the school’s IT systems.

 

The postholder will be responsible for the management and support of the school’s ICT resources, core infrastructure, services and data. You will also be adept in deploying user hardware such as desktops, laptops, cabling, printers, AV equipment.

 

Requirements;

· Worked in a relevant ICT position providing strong 2^nd line support

· Experience supporting desktop and server hardware, software, AV equipment etc.

· Windows 7 / 8 / 10, Server 2008R2, 2012R2

· VMWare vSphere / vCenter

· Networking – DHCP, DNS, TCP / IP, VLAN, switching, firewalls, wireless, WAN

· Virtual server backup technologies (Veeam, vRanger)

· Mobile device management experience

· Anti-virus technologies

 

Beneficial;

· Previously worked within the Education Sector

· Child safeguarding, web and email security experience

· Experience with School MIS Systems (SIMS, ISAMS, Schoolbase)
