Setting up Office 365 Message Encryption

I am trying to setup OME on our O365 Tenant using this guide https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/securitycompliance/set-up-new-message-encryption-capabilities

 

When running Test-IRMConfiguration i am getting a Failed message rather than a Pass.

 

I have attached the output from the Get-IRMConfiguration below.

 

 

Does anyone have any pointers what might be going wrong?

Are you only o365 in the cloud and no on prem exchange?

You have a few variables that are different from what we have and some of the differences seem to be linked to mixed/on prem stuff.

We do have an on prem exchange server but it is not currently in general use, we did a hybrid migration at the end of March and migrated across to Exchange online for all current users, we just have older mailboxes on prem at the moment.

What version is it?

The version we migrated from is Exchange 2016 and 2010.

Microsoft Support gave me some different PS commands to run and we now have this up and running.

It's pointless of course, if someone can intercept your email they can click the link too, then it emails you a single use code, which you can also steal, and you can now read the encrypted message.
