Hi all,

We have recently implemented Edulink One and it is great!, however, we have an issue and wondered if anybody has come across the same problem and how they countered it.

We use SIMS and reports are created through 2 different routes, the first is individual reports, whilst the second are the yearly report via "Student profile". Whilst the latter reports are not generated they do not pull through to Edulink Documents, however in order for them to be checked and corrected by someone else, they HAVE to be generated, this means the draft report is published (VERY undesirable).

Has anybody come aross this issue themselves and how did you get around it?

Regards

You can select which document types are available to parents, so you can turn off profile reports but I'm assuming you want to then be able to publish them once finalised.

We have a feature request open for an embargo so that we can set a publish date for documents and not show them before this time. I suggest you email Overnet and add your requirement to that. They're pretty good at responding to feature requests but I did just send a bunch last week and haven't heard back yet.

Hi David,

Yes, I've stopped profile reports showing at the moment. The problem we have is that the year group reports overlap, so a year 11 report could be made available whilst year 10 are still in draft. So even your embargo may not work for us.

There is a setting on the documents tab of the settings called "Non-Employee Embargo Types" select "AM Individual Report" from the drop down list then enter the number of days you would like them to be hidden from Parents and Students. This works off the document modified date so should allow you to achieve what you want to do

Hope this helps
