Chromebook - setting up exam style

But do you do it from within Chromex or put it in PDF format or upload to Google drive and then print separately?

Is that via Mobility print? We have papercut too.

I am navigating to chromex.io via a pc so expected my network printers to be available but they don't get listed inside Chromex.

Don't think so, because I'm pretty sure we're going to need to add mobility print in summer to address the end of cloud print. I can't remember exactly what we see, but I'm almost certain it's our available network printers (ie Papercut, save to pdf etc). I'm not a techie, just a teacher. [emoji6]

it was about three years back, and I've moved on from there, I really can't remember - but I do recal they were a really good company to work with and their products worked really well.

Teachers would use digiexam for mocks and in class tests. I understand that schools in Sweden use it for public exams.

DigiExam was very expensive when I got a quote last June. The minimum contract is for 500 students which is €3,500 per year. Setup/implementation is another €1,500 (a one off cost).

 

For my school (1,200 students) it would cost €7,800 per year (or €6.50 per student) including setup and training.

 

Due to the price, I went with ChromEx. If you require more than 10 users, the minimum number of licenses you need to buy is 20 at a cost of £3.00 each per year. I purchased these through C-Learning.

I might suggest some specific windows based exam laptops and just use examwritepad as it's very good

DigiExam sounds very expensive and it'd swamp budgets I've had in the past. However €6.50/£5 per pupil isn't much compared to the average amount spent on entering public exams or as a proportion of the funding per child. If it does everything you need to run exams, it sounds like quite good value. I still can't imagine many places funding it...

We used Chromex last year for mocks and it worked really well. It is also dirt cheap and they only charge you in months when you use it. Not bothering this year as assessments will just be in lessons, but we'll go back to it next year.

I don't think you'd want to buy Digiexam for the whole school,I can't see it being used for yeargroups who are not taking public examinations. IIRC we just bought for year 10,11
