[ms office - 2016] Microsoft Access Database Creation Issue

Hi All,

Recently our ICT teacher has come to us with an issue in Microsoft Access. Students cannot create a new database no matter which version/file type they choose, they get the attached error message:

 

 

Keep in mind they are able to open pre existing database files edit and save them without any issue, its just the creation of a new one that seems to be the issue. Staff do not have the same issue, i can't seem to find any GPO that is causing this either. It looks to be a permission issue with writing to their redirected folder...

 

Any help will be appreciated!

Can they create one if they choose a local path like C:\Users\itstudent ?

 

Also, anything in File Server Resource Manager blocking it?

You could try running procmon on the client to find the issue.

They are blocked from saving locally but i will look into the File Server Resource Manager.
