Have finally given up on trying to get Fusion 360 running/installing/updating properly and am looking at alternatives.

Any (free is good) suggestions as to what else is out there that is simple to install and similar in functionality for the great unwashed to learn?

Cheers

We're running fusion very well here. It's deploy with a script I made (which I can send when back at work, but search on here for my name and you should find it). It's a pretty basic script but is working well for us. You sign up for update notifications from Autodesk, download the new installer when released and replace it on the server. Update the date in the script and that's it.

Some Autodesk urls might be needed in your filter but otherwise its low maintainace, at least for us.

Same, we do it via SCCM pushing out a script install and not had any problems. Is a PITA that it doesn't auto update and the updates are quite frequent

It needs a Chrome style updater and support federation using gsuite/azurrad/Adfs.

If you can script as much as you can you can get the updates out.

What issues are you having? Is it the lack of proxy support?
