Hello,

I know that this is possible its just trying to get my head around it, ok so if we want to give all our students an email account in o365 thats not a problem, but I want staff and students not to mix really so having two GAL's is my thought.

I've created a new 'Staff' GAL and a new ABP to apply it to the staff (tested with one so far), so far so good.

But my test student who isn't part of anything just a student with an exchange account can still see that staff members details not in the new GAL (it doesn't appear) but if they click on 'All users' in the Outlook client the staff member is still in there, what am I missing?

I think its something to do with the 'default global address list' but I need help.....

Thanks in advance

David

The default global address list continues to exist, so anyone who isn't assigned an Address Book Policy will get the default, hence the reason they can see all users.
