Looking to buy some Acer machines anyway, and was sent this: https://uk-promotions.acer.com/

 

Just wondering if anyone else has seen it, or applied for the cashback?

Acer just isn't a brand I'd put in a school, it's not hardy. I have done these cash backs before they do work, usually have some got-you' sin there. (like how old the trade in can be)

Having previously done this with Acer, I've found it not really worth the agro either if you are buying more than 1 or 2 laptops. Unless they have changed, you need to submit a seperate claim (much like extended warranties) for each individual device, rather than all in one go.

 

The only thing we used Acer laptops for were exams, when price was the key, or for admin laptops where they aren't going to be used that much.
