Has anyone used any Data Recovery companies they would recommend? We have a dead hard drive that contains some important files we need to recover but the hard drive is not recognized by the system so we are beyond the use of data recovery programs.

Whilst they didnt get any data back they gave me a report of what the issue was and confirmed that it was beyond recovery. They do the assessment free of Charge and if they can recover data they then offer to recover it at a fixed fee. I was trying to recover data from a Micro SD Card.

I've used ontrack a good few years ago in a last job and they did manage to get the data back from a quite badly damaged external hard drive. Wasn't cheap, but also wasn't what I called excessively priced. Very professional, and quick!
