ICT Support Technician (1^st/2^nd Line) – NE Essex * URGENT *

Our client, a leading Independent Schools Group are looking for an experienced ICT Support Technician to provide day-to-day ICT support for the staff and students at two of their school sites.

 

As the ICT Support Technician, you will be based at a school site in North East Essex, with occasional visits required at a second school site, which is just a few minutes’ walk away.

 

Your main duties will include liaising with the School staff and ICT Service Desk to identify, prioritise and resolve all ICT support and service requests plus managing the ICT support activities for the two schools.

 

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience supporting IT within a school or college.

 

Essential Technical skills include :

 

• Windows Server 2008 / 2012 (Administration)
  
• Active Directory and Group Policy
  
• Windows 7 / 8 / 10
  
• MS Office 10 / 13 / 365 / suites
  
• LAN / WAN
  
• DNS / DHCP
  
• VLAN
  
• SIMS support
  
• Any experience of Wireless technologies, Apple Macs, iPads and VM Ware is also highly desirable.
