meastaugh1 Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Can anyone recommend an RSS aggregator web part for WSSV3? I've tried the Smiling Goat and Binary Wave web parts, neither of which seem to work (due to our proxy servers I expect). Thanks Michael
Jona Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Maybe google reader (http://www.google.com/reader) might work as it's outside your proxy?
meastaugh1 Posted May 6, 2008 Author Posted May 6, 2008 Hi, Thanks for the suggestion. It probably will do, but I'm not sure the google reader will fit on the screen as a sharepoint webpart. It also requires a separate account. I'm quite surprised how difficult it is to find something.
apearce Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 Have you enabled your proxy server in the web.config file? Code Eater : enable proxy settings in SharePoint web.config to view RSS Viewer Web Part 1
meastaugh1 Posted May 7, 2008 Author Posted May 7, 2008 Thanks for that. The Binary Wave part is now working.
