ChrisH Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 I have just noticed that the admin web interface will only allow my computer to access the web interface. I now need to allow somebody else access to this interface from another PC. I cannot find anywhere in the setting about an access list or anything that. Can somebody point me in the right direction?
rob_f Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Should be in System -> Administration -> External Access Hope this helps! Rob.
ChrisH Posted May 6, 2008 Author Posted May 6, 2008 The default rule of all and all is already in place there and adding the workstation IP as well has had no effect.... I shall keep playing thanks.
tom_newton Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Could be a proxy issue - make sure the machine(s) you want to access the admin i/face from are set not to use the proxy for CG's address. If you try and access the admin interface through the proxy itself, things sometimes go a bit bonkers. PS. Oh no, there's 2 of us now ;-)
Bugan Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 Can somebody point me in the right direction? Hi, Take a Look @ Remote Administration of SmoothWall I Hope that works for you
