Salary: Surrey S8 £28,294 - £32,838

Duration: Permanent full time (36 hours a week)

The Ashcombe is a large secondary school in Surrey consisting of nearly 1400 students and over 200 staff with a friendly relaxed atmosphere. We require a skilled candidate to help with the operation of the school's IT department providing support to all staff and students. You will be part of a team consisting of a Network Manager, Deputy Network Manager, and three technicians (two of which are term time only).

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Ensure the school's IT environment is safe, secure and compliant
  
• Deploy and support desktops, laptops and associated AV/printing equipment throughout the school
  
• Maintain an accurate asset inventory of all school devices
  
• Management of active directory and Office 365
  
• Maintenance and updating of servers and software
  
• Assist the technicians with day to day running of the IT helpdesk
  
• Provide dependable support to infrastructure and services in the absence of the network manager
  
• Undertake any other responsibilities as directed by the network manager
