Rimworld - The best sim management i've ever played

Anyone played this?

 

Played a few hours on it (108), but i still find it to be the most challenging and best 'do whatever you want' type of game.

 

P.s. i read they may be bringing multiplayer (fully functional, not the workshop editions people have helped with) to the game

It's soooo difficult. Keep finding myself dying to invasions when my crew go to parley with some other tribes. I mean, TAKE A HINT. I don't want trouble!

Actually, i see your Dwarf Fortress, and i raise you Star Fox Command, the best game of my childhood (until a bit later).

i enjoy playing it and with all the additional workshop item on steam it is increasingly more fun. Im still terrible at it tho

Is it just me, or does it look a bit like Prison Architect?

In my current game had a nice little colony going, during a raid though my only doctor got shot in the head and ended up with brain damage confined to his bed. The mods I use meant he could be cured by a skilled doctor, but the only one capable of doing it was him. Someone then got malaria and it soon spread to all the remaining colonists and without proper medical care they all died leaving my poor doctor confined to a bed slowly starving to death. The camps pet cat ended up being the sole survivor feasting on the remains of the fallen colonists, eventually someone escaping from pirates turned up and now back up to 3 colonists. None of them know the dark secrets the cat has

LOL, had a similar situation. Viruses are the worst thing to hit a colony. A raid, no worries i can deal with that and a few losses. A virus, exit and restart haha
