For those who are fans of Hidden London tours, there’s a series on Yesterday called “Secrets of the London Underground”

We are watching and enjoying it. It’s not just what you see on Hidden London.

Railway historian Tim Dunn (The Architecture The Railways Built) teams up with Siddy Holloway from the London Transport Museum to explore the disused parts of London's tube network, from abandoned stations to redundant tunnels and lifts, often hidden right under passengers' noses.

Just come back from a soggy afternoon at the Kingsway Tram Subway tour (part of London Transport Museum’s Hidden London series), an interesting look at a bit of London’s transport infrastructure I didn’t know a huge amount about!

Was also nice as I have a distant family connection to London’s tram system. My great-great-grandfather was a conductor on the trams around Camden/Kentish Town back around 1900!
