BFCIT Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 (edited) Hi all, We have a number of clevertouch plus boards in our Maths department all displaying similar faults. On Windows 7 Office 2013 we did not experience any problems. Since our migration last summer to Windows 10 and Office 2016 we have had constant snags with Clevertouch boards: Phantom lines appearing whilst annotating using Microsoft Office 2016 products (mostly Powerpoint). Annotation not calibrated correctly with the board, annotations appearing 4 inches to the right of where the board is touched. Monitor on desk losing signal when displaying Powerpoints on Clevertouch screens- we have had to educate users how to clone their display and create a desktop icon to facilitate this. This is really hit and miss, often a restart of the computer resolves the issue but not guaranteed. We have tried changing drivers, spoke with Sahara support, been given a touch assistance driver to install in addition to the standard windows update touch driver and this has proved no use so far. We have also changes USB cables, HDMI inputs, screen resolutions etc. Really appreciate any advice any one can offer - this is putting me off buying more Clevertouch screens as we can't offer a consistent working teaching tool. TriggerHappyUK Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 Sounds like a driver issue - Any new drivers on the Clevertouch website for Win10
BFCIT Posted March 7, 2019 Author Posted March 7, 2019 We were advised from Sahara that there aren't any Clevertouch drivers, the screens use the standard HID range from Windows Update.
TriggerHappyUK Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 Sorry, not too sure then. I'd go back to the manufacturer or re-seller you got them from, and ask if they have come across this before with their boards. Too many boards with this issue to be a coincidence.
TriggerHappyUK Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 Have you tried using the board with a PC that has a fresh install of Win10 and Office16 and nothing else?
