Chrome ignores Proxy setting until IE is opened first

Hi all

 

I have an issue whereby Chrome ignores Proxy setting until IE is opened

 

I have added Chrome ADMX policy but that doesn't seem to work, screenshot attached (this is added to user OUs). have I done anything wrong? Otherwise is there a script I can run on login to invoke this ?

I took another look at it again after a nap and a cup of tea..

 

Realised I was a numpty and used the admx templates for chromeOS instead of windows!

 

Works ok now .. feel a fool but been a tiring and busy half term ha ha
