Photocopier comparison - Xerox C60/C70 v Olivetti MF554

Wondering if anyone out there uses either a Xerox C60 / C70, or an Olivetti MF554 copier? We've got two proposals to replace our current Ricoh Pro C5100 in our reprographics room.

 

There's not much to choose in terms of spec or costs between the two, so would appreciate any feedback on either if you've used them.

The Olivetti is a Konica basically. Out of the two I would go Xerox, notice the Xerox monthly volume is 50k. Just something to bear in mind.

 

Personally I would use Sharp but that is my preference.

before you sign have you checked out Crown Commercial Services - we always found the click cost and the rental genrally cheaper than using photocopying company... we have used them 4 years ago for Xerox and switched to Cannon again on CCS last year.

Thanks - current unit's monthly volume is less than 20k on average so the Olivetti will cope with that. We've been exploring different companies and what they offer and have narrowed it down to these two.

We've recently put in four MF554 machines and so far have been very pleased with them. So far they've been reliable. The Papercut integration is very good, if that's important to you.

No Worries.... we were very happy with our Xeroxs they were WC 7855 though...

benc - not sure if you'll see this reply as it was a while ago we discussed this. Have you had any issues with the colour reproduction on the Olivettis? We had ours delivered a couple of weeks ago, and if you photocopy something that's mostly blue it washes out. Tried adjusting the colour balance but it's still not right.
