Hi all

I will be using schools broadband filtering on my existing line temporary until we move over to thier lease line completely.

They have given me the details:

Proxy URL: http://proxylb.schoolsbroadband.net

Ports:

31624 Admin

31625 Staff

31626 Pupil

whats the best practice to implement this? I was thinking of putting the proxy setting into our Sonicwall E5500 as an inline proxy, would this work?

How is it best rolled out to the staff and student PCs?

Many thanks!

Good Morning,

Most of our customers just use a GPO to deploy the proxy settings, other options include WPAD or PAC file. Do you want me to send over one of our guides via PM?

Thanks,

Rob

That would be great

I do have a conference call with school's broadband today.

Not an issue with GPO, its just the BYOD I'm stuck on, simple thing I thought is to add the proxy settings into our Sonicwall direct

hopefully!
