Civica's Resource Education and Management System (REMS)

Anyone any experience of REMS - looking for some high level views on the product and it's use in a 6th form college running academic and vocational courses?

We use it for our FE college (i.e. post-18) courses - seems to work okay, no real complaints from the college team. Can't really comment beyond that, but I know they're not tearing their hair out using it.

We use the Finance bit, aka Corero Resource 32000 before Civica bought them out.

Thanks all for the replies. Sadly I didn't get the job! They had 6 applicant for a MIS manager and had 4 teachers apply - the salary was decent and clearly it attracted teachers looking to spread their wings. Although I got fantastic feedback and it was about as ideal a role as I could target, they decided they liked the idea of someone who can also cover ICT teaching, so on that front only I missed out. Also, it appears they went for an internal candidate, so for now this off my radar!
