DalekSec Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 I posted about this while back not knowing whats causing it but have now found the culprit. We have the Bonjour relay service setup so student ipads on one VLAN can airplay to the Apple TVs on another along with other bits and bobs. What is happening though is apple products on any VLAN are automatically renamed to something like Macbook (2) then when it's restarted (the device) it goes to Macbook (52) and so on. When the relay service is turned off, it doesn't do the renaming but it does when it's turned on. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did you fix it?
