Managing Macs Via Intune

Hi All,

 

As the title says has anyone setup managing macOS from intune? Currently using Mosyle which i love (although LDAP has stopped working atm and trying to figure out why...)

 

My manager wants everything (including ipads and macs) managed via intune so looks like i'm gonna be taken kicking and screaming from Mosyle which does everything i want to Intune... which doesn't. Don't get my wrong intune is great for Windows from what i've seen but seems to be lacking A LOT in the apple dept.

Steer well away from InTune, even MS don't use this to manage their Macs, they use Jamf

I would say a place like the Mac Admins slack would be the best place to ask about what MDM's to use, I am in the process of purchasing Mosyle Buisness for my company, their support is better than Microsoft will ever be and its a product 100% designed to work with the apple ecosystem.

 

As a general rule of thumb that some other Mac Admins I have spoken to is, if it claims to support more than 1 platform, don't use it! (there will obviously be exceptions to this.)
