Thanks for this fantastic piece of software, it's just what we've been after.

I've knocked up a basic MakeMSI script so that it can be easily packaged into an MSI. I've not done much in the way of testing on it so use it at your own risk.

You'll need MAKEMSI - Make MSI based installation files. Can automatically build new or update existing MSI files or other Windows Installer databases file types. Has guid generator plus many other tools. installed on the machine you use to build the MSI.

Download my files at

File crunch :: Download File :: AUPInformant MSI script

Extract my zip.

Extract the package zip from Paul Beesley AUP Informant into the package folder inside the folder you unzipped my stuff to.

Once MakeMSI is installed and you've configured AUPInformant by using AUPInformant.exe.config in the normal way, right click on AUPInformant.mm and click "Build MSI - Development" and after a bit of processing you'll end with an MSI in out\AUPInformant.mm\MSI

That's fantastic :D

I've found a way to simplify the installation for CC3 networks and I'll update the page soon. For vanilla deployments, I imagine this is going to be a big help. Cheers!

Test went well and I've now deployed it to ~400 machines without incident. Of course your mileage may vary, but it works for me.
