Remote Desktop Licensing Server, Please Help!!

Hi All

 

So as far as I'm aware I'm doing everything right but for some odd reason it's just not working. I have installed Remote Desktop Session Host and Remote Desktop Licensing on a 2016 Server.

 

I have added the licenses to the Licensing manager and it's all activated with a little Green tick, and added the server to our Terminal Licenses group. I have done gone Group Policy and changed the licensing server to itself and set it to "Per User"

 

I really don't know what else I can do but if I look at the logs this is what it says (See Photos)

 

The diagnoser only speaks about another Terminal Licensing Server we have onsite under ip .14 but mentions nothing of the new server .8.

 

Anything, you guys can think of I did wrong? I'm really stuck with this one!

Have you pointed the RDS Hosts to the licence server?

I think so, "RDS Hosts" being the terminal server itself? I've pointed this using Group Policy?

 

I may not have this right though so let me know if there's something else I've got to do I'll try anything at this point lol!

Tried the following steps?

 

Open Server Manager.

Navigate to the Remote Desktop Services navigation area.

Select the Overview branch.

Under the Deployment Overview area, select Edit Deployment Properties from the Tasks menu.

Select the RD Licensing page of the displayed dialog.

Specify the licensing mode and the correct license server, then click OK.

Any ideas guys? Sorry really stuck with this one. I have fixed the issue where Overview tab wouldn't work and done what @Boredguy says but still won't recognise the server!
