I've finally managed to find someone worth ignoring on this site and as a result discovered that there's a layout issue somewhere.

The post is being ignored but the thread puts one of the posts out to the left and squashes the rest over to the right.

Problem thread:

User ignored: You can guess!

Only happens on page 3... not the others.

I cant see it but I show more threads per page.

What is your threads per page set at in the user cp?

I'm using forum default... which equates to 15 it seems.

Hi

Cheers for that. The first post in that page has a ad to the left of it. The space for ad's automatically are spanned across 2 posts due to the fact that most posts are small and the ad banner needs the height of 2 posts before it looks correctly. This though does have a negative when you have 2 long posts with ad's next to it where you have whitespace to the right which is unused by the second post. The problem is there really is not a simple way to detect the size of the thread and then create the spanning based on that.

The posts I am talking about are #31 & #32. Are other posts having problems for you or is it the whitespace thats the issue?

Cheers

So I assume what I described was what you were seeing?

As much as I could understand your explanation it seems about right... certainly 31 ends up half way down the page on the left and 32 tops out on the right.
