Theldron Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Hi all, Theoretical question. If I wanted to build a parent site in wordpress and create multiple separate child sites underneath with their own theme etc. How would I go about this? I would like the child sites to be part of the main site for rankings etc. Cheers

Theldron Posted January 21, 2019 Author Posted January 21, 2019 (edited) Thanks @Marci. Would it be possible to ensure that everyone went through the parent site to get to the child sites? For example I did a sports site, but wanted a separate site for football, rugby, hockey etc. But wanted all visitors to go to Sports site to get to the others. Edited January 21, 2019 by Theldron
Marci Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 (edited) Depends - if all visitors have to log in, yes. You can knock up a plugin to redirect all logins to the root site (the WPO365 plugin does this for instance, if you’re integrating auth with O365 / AzureAD). If visitors don’t have to log in and content is public, not easily. Edited January 21, 2019 by Marci 1
