TLS issue on server affecting B2B

Hi everyone,

 

I wondered if anyone has been in a similar situation.

 

The B2B (Pupil changes and Attendance data) transfer that happens on a weekly schedule from SIMS has stopped working.

 

This happened after doing updates on our Sims Win 2008r2 server. (Updates hadn't taken place for a very long time - Don't ask, Long story!)

 

So basically we need to be able to use TLS 1 but updates now mean that this is obsolete and wont work.

I've tried various ways to add TLS 1 back in to the registry and numerous methods but it still won't work.

 

Has anyone had any joys dealing with this or a similar issue?

Our LA advised schools that they had to move to TLS1.2 as Capita ONE was stopping supporting TLS 1.0 a couple of upgrades ago. I'd query with the LA why they haven't enabled the option for TLS 1.2.

same here we were advised that we had to change tls settings in the sims service manager
