How to license Minecraft education edition to a specific device?

Looking into installing Minecraft and struggling on the licensing side of things, We want the license to be attached to a specific station/devices in one classroom and not attached to the user account.

only way I can think is to create generic user accounts and license to them however we would prefer for the students to be able to use their own accounts, any ideas?

 

there are limited licenses and so far it seems licenses have to be assigned per user rather than station

I was on the understanding that the Minecraft Licence was assigned to an O365 account. I'm unaware that it could be linked to a PC? I know it's possible to deploy the installer using PowerShell to PCs avoiding the store. How much did you pay?

well that's my question really I'm aware it has to be linked to an O365 account, as for cost I have no idea. I want to apply the license to a device rather than the actual O365 account saves having to pay for licenses for everybody, this way students could use there own accounts, if not we will have to make new accounts to apply the license to which all students could access if given the credentials

When you start the game you have to login, I'm guessing you'd have to go the false user accounts route. The accounts are $5 in the US I was wondering if they were £3.33 or something over here. of if you can get a site licence.

I think I did see it was £3 odd over here yes, I'm trying licensing via a group method rather than an individual user at the moment to see if that works
