MatthewL Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 I need a quote for Windows 10 Pro for use at home if someone can quote me, can PM details over if any supplier can do so, if so please post. Also need license for Office, I am a current Office 365 user for email only. I need Outlook and Access on PC, what is my best solution these days? Looking to purchase Office as a one time cost seems expensive compared to the 365 offerings, I'm still using 2010 at home but need to upgrade.
Arthur Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Office 2019 is £11.99 through Microsoft's Home Use Program. www.microsofthup.com/hupuk/home.aspx?country_id=GB
MatthewL Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 Don't have that benefit. Think I'm going to go down the 365 route for Office.
VirtueTechnologies_Nick Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 (edited) Hi Matthew, I should be able to help with pricing for Windows 10 Pro. If you PM me I'll get something over to you. Upgrading your existing 365 subscription should be your best bet for Office. Thanks, Nick Edited January 14, 2019 by VirtueTechnologies_Nick
MatthewL Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 Hi Nick, Thanks for coming back to me, I have actually sorted Windows 10 out now but what are my options with 365? Currently got 365 for email, which subscription am I best adding baring in mind I need Outlook and Access.
Boredguy Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Matthew, do you not use 365 at work? If so you've already likely got home use available for yourself using your work credentials
MatthewL Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 Yes I am aware that I can login to 365 and use features but this is for my own personal work and want my work/personal life kept totally separate. There are things I work on outside of work that are of confidential nature and I cannot run any risk of the two been linked anywhere.
VirtueTechnologies_Nick Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Hi Matthew, in that case I'd say your best option is direct from Microsoft, £59.99 annually or £5.99 per month - assuming it's just one user. https://products.office.com/en-gb/compare-all-microsoft-office-products?tab=1 We don't have special pricing for a single home license unfortunately. Nick
MatthewL Posted January 14, 2019 Author Posted January 14, 2019 No worries thanks for taking the time to come back to me.
