Olliesaurus Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 At a bit of a loss with this one, Currently running RM and Trend Micro with the contract from Trend up for renewal in February, only problem being is I have lined up for a network reinstall in July using SCCM AV! RM want £2000 for Trend Micro which I understand, however I don't really want to be paying all that money for a bit of a naff product and for only 6 months! Anyone got any ideas at all? Thanks
mavhc Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 If you're on Win10 then just use Defender, paying for AV is so 2014 1

DJ-1701 Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Well, you can trial SCCM for 180 days before needing a license key. Might be an option before the proper installation. 1
SparkySX Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Have you checked whether your internet supplier or your LEA (assuming you're in a school) supply AV as part of your current packages? 1
steve_forbes Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Hi, I'm the product manager for Online Safety and Security at RM, just let me know what you need and happy to sort out a pro-rata contract for you or something that will meet your needs for that period of time. Also really interested in your feedback as to why it's naff :-) 1
