It is that time of year again, where schools ICT staff find themselves working the sound and lights at chaotic Christmas performances, being asked

to make videos last minute, all whilst dealing with the usual business of running a complex network and generally keeping their schools ticking.

Here’s to you all – We hope you enjoy the festive period, for there’s no doubt that you’ve earned it!

 

2018, from our point of view was a year of transition. We’d just implemented a new finance and ERP system at the back end of 2017 and the last 12

months have been all about getting to grips with its inevitable quirks (it is a Microsoft System after all). However, we hope that the improvements are

apparent now as those of you who have purchased from us will have had greater visibility of stock, an improved quoting and invoicing system with a

much more accurate depiction of the components you can expect to receive.

 

Earlier this month, our sister site – Bargain Hardware – launched their new website. A behemoth project linking a Magento-powered storefront with our

Microsoft Dynamics-powered inventory and finance systems. Once things have settled down and Bargain Hardware have run this new platform for a

while, you’ll our own website move to use the same engine. From that point, you’ll be able to pop online and configure your dream PC, knowing full-well

that we have all the parts available and ready to ship.

 

So, as we close the order book on 2018 may John, Myself & all the staff here at ICT Direct take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Christmas,

a fantastic new year and a wonderful 2019.
