Hello,

I am trying to come up with a way to track rewards (in our school they are House Points) given by staff and hopefully in the process streamline the data collection for rewards. The SIMs manager in our school say there is not a way to log awards without it counteracting the behaviour points as the two are intrinsically linked but I have spoken to some colleagues who believe it is possible but do not know how.

Has anyone else found a similar issue and found a way around it?

Thank you!!

Achievement points are recorded separately from Behaviour points, there is a Conduct Points measure that is basically the Achievement minus the Behaviour but that is a separate measure.

Indeed - we use SIMS for this and behaviour and achievement can be reported separately with no issues. There are some pre-defined reports that take the aggregate totals, but its not inherent in the system.

We do this using a report in SIMS that we created, and we then upload to a Google Sheet which tracks the rewards when the student cashes them in. We use the 'Total Achievement Points' field from the 'Conduct' section of the report editor.
