Cisco 2802 radio operational status down

Good Afternoon all,

 

Just hoping for some advice with a problem that we've got with two access points. They're online and registered with the controller, but both radios on both access points are down. At this stage we've tried restarting, factory resetting and manually disabling & enabling the radios without any success.

 

I don't think it's a POE problem as other access points receiving the same amount of power are still working.

For elimination, could you swap the access points for working ones and see if the problem follows the location or the AP?

On the AP what does

show 802.11b

show 802.11a

 

Come back with?

Will give this a try. It's at our junior school, so will ask the tech to swap it.

Afraid neither of these commands work on the AP.

To finish my own thread.

 

No one here is admitting to doing it, but certain random switch ports were configured for a max POE output of 15.4 watts. Changing the port back to auto(as it should have been) has sorted the problem!
