Hey everyone,

 

So I have been having a problem with a SmartBoard, it seems as though at random times, whenever the board and projector are powered up and the computer is turned on, the projector will display a black screen with a bunch of dark blue dots across the whiteboard. The problem can be resolved by cycling through the inputs, but as I'm sure you are aware, instructors do not like having to do that. The touch inputs work fine, but you can't see what you're trying to do on the actual board itself. Does anyone have any experience with this? It didn't start until after the most recent firmware update. It actually seems that after the most recent firmware update, we have been having quite a few problems with multiple SmartBoards across the campus. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

What Smartboards do you have? With our older ones I had to roll back to 12.2 driver version after problems with later versions.

The one's with the most problems are our SBX885's and the one with this issue is using an UX60 projector.
