[sims] Printing Individual Reports only Alphabetical in Latest Sims.net Update 7.184

I hope someone can help -or let me know if this is only happening on my system or if its changed for everyone

 

We have been struggling with this all week, while printing Individual Reports for the whole school, in the past we were able to select 'ALL YEARS' to see the list of the whole school, then sort by REG to group the pupils by registration classes and then PRINT - this would print them in the order listed on the list, giving us class groups which could be distributed easily. Since the latest update we are unable to do this - although we still select all pupils and can sort on the lest by REG, regardless of the order on the list reports are printed in ALPHABETICAL Order.

I've tried this for different groups and with different orders and it still always prints in alphabetical order. We have found two work arounds which are both very time consuming

1) Select each REG class and print class by class - this takes a long time as each class has to process separately and then print

2) Print the whole school alphabetically and then MANUALLY sort into reg class - again very time consuming.

Has anyone else noticed this?

It's a known issue. Until it's resolved, print them one reg group at a time and you should be fine.

I've had a look on our SOLUS and that this patch "After applying the patch Individual Reports will be displayed in alphabetical order when previewing or printing"

 

This seems to be the opposite of what I want? In any case I can't deploy as this patch says not suitable for my system.
