I am trying to get videos from an iPod and have connected it to my Win10 computer.

The location - This PC>Apple iPod>INTERNAL STORAGE>DCIM>100APPLE

contains some of the videos and these have been copied over, however there is one massive video that doesn't appear.

It is visible in the iPod's 'Photos' app in 'Camera Roll' and is taking up most of the storage space as it's an hour and a half long.

So, questions are... where is this video stored and why can't I access it? There is no other storage location that I know of (SD card).

Will I have to install iTunes?

As you can tell I'm not very Apple literate, so be please be gentle.

iPod is not on the network, isn't supervised and isn't part of any MDM or Apple School solution.

Aha! Sussed it!!!

There was no export to 'Camera Roll' as such, but just the usual iCloud/Mail/Facebook etc.

What there was though, was a 'Duplicate' option - so I chose that and strangely it said 'Downloading' (not that it's connected to the cloud or a network).

After a while it popped up in the correct place (although on the iPod it appears as if there is indeed two copies now). The only thing is what if I hadn't enough space on the device to duplicate it?

So the question still stands...
