Simcfc73 Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Hi, I've upgraded a few machines to Office 2019 and I noticed it doesn't use WSUS to update. I've set the Group policy to enable updates and the other policies in the Office 2016 (Machine) section but just wondered how successful people have found this. I forced the update on my work PC to get the version number (16.0.10338.20019) so I have a reference in PDQ Inventory to see if any are updating. How quickly do they usually update, I've only set the GP today so am being a bit impatient.
free780 Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 If they are using click to run. You can either use SCCM to control updates or let your PCs reach out to Microsoft depending on bandwidth avaliable. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/office2019/update
