Hi all

I am trying to find an answer to this, and am a bit stumped. As part of OVS-ES, does anyone have a list of the features of Azure that are available to us built into the subscription please (at no additional cost)?

I am looking at the MFA/Conditional Access Rules (Known Locations), but do not think that they are available as part of our current subscription - also checking that we are getting everything we are entitled to!

Thanks in advance

This document has the feature comparison:

As @FishCustard says, you get AAD Basic included with your OVS edu bundle. If you want to use conditional access, you need P1. You can add that to your OVS agreement on the same basis (pay per FTE, valid for pupils too).

I have discovered another feature which appears to be free even with AAD Basic; in the Admin console, you can prevent syncing to devices not on your domain for both OneDrive and SharePoint. I presume that users can still access and save local copies of individual files, but it reduces the risk of bulk data loss as users can't just scoop up whole directories of files.

MFA for Office 365 can be done with your standard A1 licenses without any extra cost.

Conditional Access and Named Locations need an Azure Active Directory P1 or P2 license - but those can be got via your license reseller at a cost FAR less to what the online calculators project. You may for FTE and get free student benefit.
