BBC Two - School

Anyone watch the TV program on BBC two last night called School?

 

Last night it was about a School in Gloucestershire called Marlwood.

Good program, they didnt mention the support staff at all but as it was a Acadamy I'm guessing they're central???

 

I only worked in private schools (went to a comp in my youth) so it was a bit of an eye opener, I also dont think I'd ever really accociated children with money.

Yeah I know but it was more obvious in a private school, the fees are on the website. With comprehensives and academies, I've never really thought about how they work out how much cash to give a school.....not my finest moment (maybe could of missed that bit out of the thread).

They quoted a number of teachers that seemed very high for a school of that size. I am guessing they just bundled support staff into that 1 figure.

I think the staff numbers were for all 4 schools in the MAT
