MartinRouterKing Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Hi All, We have a bootable floppy disk with some software on that is used to print to an old printer! Don’t ask!! The floppy failed but i have managed to get it working. Is there anyway to clone this bootable floppy and put it on a hard disk and make the hard disk boot? Thanks!
bald_pig Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 should be able to just make an image of the floppy and burn that to a hdd?
crc-ict Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Don't know about hard disk, but back in bad old days of RM CC4, we used to have a special USB stick that could be switched to emulate a usb floppy. Don't know if you can still get them? Might be worth a look?
smarties11 Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 You can use Nero to make a bootable ISO, and then you can use Rufus' ISO to USB tool to make a bootable USB from this ISO image.
