Multiple small freezes throughout the day when on domain login

Interesting issue I have here with Windows 10 and specifically on our Lenovo Edge 15 laptops.

 

When logged in on any domain user account the laptop freezes periodically maybe for a minute or 2 , no blue screen or anything. RAM and Disk all look fairly fine and its not maxing out. What I have noticed is that when the user is at home or when I turn off the wireless we don't get this issue. Its obviously some sort of network problem with these machines maybe checking in with ESET or WSUS but before I spent hours digging around has anyone seen this issue before?

Does it make a difference when connected via WIFI or Ethernet?

Have you tried any updates to the drivers or BIOS?

Yep updated BIOS, wireless card, graphics card, done all latest windows updates... wonder if it could be a power saving mode on the wireless card? I haven't tried the Ethernet connection only yet either that is a good point I will try that now. Thanks bud
