Hi,

Does anybody know how to give read only access to a user to their own email account in O365.

Reason for doing so is confidential so not up for discussion - but would be grateful if someone knows how. It has been done before so I know it is possible - just can't seem to find any settings etc that point to it.

Many thanks in advance

Off top of my head I can't think of anything with their existing account, but maybe make a temporary account for them whilst whatever the issue is resolved and you can of course give them read-only access to the original.

How would you give read only access to the original? I've created a test 2nd account to see if they could have read only to the original but not getting far with it?

In a normal exchange environment you would add the second account in the permissions and then change to read only. Used to right click on the mailbox and do it there.
