Having come under new leadership in 2016, The Totteridge Academy has made rapid progress which is evidenced in the dramatic transition from 40% to 69% of students gaining good passes in English and Maths, and an improved Progress 8 score of +0.39, compared to -0.45 in 2016.

 

You will be directly responsible to our Director of Operations and line manage IT colleagues.

 

The role will involve a hands on approach to people management, project management and problem solving as well as management and maintenance of the Academy’s ICT systems. As the IT Network Manager you will be responsible to ensure the day to day operations of the ICT systems ensuring adequate technical and user support is available to meet need of trust and most importantly our students.

 

The ideal candidate will have proven skills in being able to manage a network successfully. They should be someone who can ensure all computer equipment and network installations are monitored and maintained in good working order and in a clean environment. They will be responsible for ensuring all data is backed up and can be rapidly and reliably recovered.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a secondary school environment and knowledge of SIMS and other school packages is essential.

 

This position provides the opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic candidate with vision to help shape an ethos of care, respect, high achievement and challenge.

 

To succeed you must be a team player and be able to communicate at all levels within the Academy, including students. You must have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise workload and meet internal and external deadlines.
