IT Support Technician – Hertfordshire / NW London * URGENT *

Up to £23,000 dependent on experience + excellent benefits

 

Our client, a leading Independent School in Hertfordshire require an IT Support Technician to join their existing team.

 

As the IT Technician, your duties will include resolving queries whilst working from and updating the school’s helpdesk system, providing IT support to different user groups throughout the school, maintaining documentation, providing assistance to classes where necessary, training end users and assisting with IT projects.

 

To be considered for this role, you must have:

 

• Experience supporting hardware, software and AV equipment to a 1st/2nd line level
  
• Excellent knowledge of Windows 7/10, Office 2016/365, Printers and MFDs
  
• Previously used Active Directory, Group Policy
  
• Ability to communicate effectively at different levels throughout the school
  

 

Any experience of the following is also highly desirable:

• Working in a similar role with a school or college.
  
• Anti-virus software (i.e. Sophos)
  
• VOIP phones, communication systems, Enterprise Wi-Fi solutions
  
• Mobile Device Management solutions, VLE implementations
  
• Access Control systems, CCTV and surveillance systems
  
• Microsoft SharePoint
