Cannot find Attribute!

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

 

I cannot find the attribute

msExchRequireAuthToSendTo

in the attribute editor/ adsi edit to restrict only internal senders to using distribution lists that i set up on AD.

You will probably need your Schema extending with for use with Exchange Server. Have you ever had Exchange Server on the domain?

Thanks for reply. Yes, years ago, but completely rebuilt domain and IP schema since.....

I assume you want to sync this to Office 365?

Yes exactly. I had that page open as you typed that.... looks fun :-/ just to disable outside emails emailing distr groups set up on AD. Kids signing AllStudents/ teachers groups up to junk :-/

You only need to do the first bit - extending the schema- and then relatively straightforward using powershell.

This may sound really daft but am i loading exchange server cd into my virtual drive for:

:\Setup.exe /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms /PrepareSchema

?
