[sims] How to find the SIMS document management backup location?

Hi.

 

A client has created a SIMS backup (including DMS) for a MIS migration, but is unable to locate the documents backup .zip file. When using the SIMS Database Management Utility to take a backup including the document management system, the documents backup should be saved to a location specified during the SIMS document server installation. Where can my client see the path that was set for documents backups during the document server installation? Is there a config file that this path is stored in? Thanks. Server installation

The default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMS\SIMS .net Document Server\SIMSDocumentServer_%ServerName%.config

where %ServerName% = the name of the server it was installed on. You can just open this in notepad as it is a very small xml file
