ThatBoringBloke Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 Seems to be missing from the VLSC. Was there the other day. Anyone else missing it or just me? Ta.
Arthur Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 It has been pulled by MS since it's based on Windows 10 v1809 like Windows Server 2019. 1
ThatBoringBloke Posted October 9, 2018 Author Posted October 9, 2018 Why's it been pulled? Sorry - Must have missed this news!

FN-GM Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 Yes. One of the technicians has just built a 2019 server. Can't wait to tell him! ha ha 2
PD1279 Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 Also has problems with manually mapped drives, GPO ones are rumoured to still work. I have updated my machine to 1809 with no issues but it seems that if people have been setting some odd storage locations/redirections on the machines rather than sticking with MS recommended locations then for some reason it removes these with no warnings. A new install does not of course suffer from any of these issues apart from the mapped drive ones.
chazzy2501 Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 yay! I have the image, I'm just gonna continue using this flawed version for my master image (even edge isn't installed, didn't realize it'd be so naked)
Mujja Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 Using 1809 LTSC as a clean install so no issues with data loss etc. Manually mapped drives are OK. Only issue I have so far is getting OneNote 2016 to sync reliably with Notebooks on OneDrive. I've tried Office 2019 and Office 365, still need to give Office 2016 a try. Apart from the OneNote to OneDrive sync issue it's nice and quick and will keep as my main OS and reimage when the updated ISO is released.
Mujja Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 To fix the OneNote 2016 sync issue I had to set a static route. My workstation has two NICs. Both networks/gatways have internet access, disabling either NIC fixed the sync issue. Set a static route so all onedrive traffic goes through a single gateway.
