Also has problems with manually mapped drives, GPO ones are rumoured to still work.

I have updated my machine to 1809 with no issues but it seems that if people have been setting some odd storage locations/redirections on the machines rather than sticking with MS recommended locations then for some reason it removes these with no warnings.

A new install does not of course suffer from any of these issues apart from the mapped drive ones.

Using 1809 LTSC as a clean install so no issues with data loss etc.

Manually mapped drives are OK. Only issue I have so far is getting OneNote 2016 to sync reliably with Notebooks on OneDrive. I've tried Office 2019 and Office 365, still need to give Office 2016 a try.

Apart from the OneNote to OneDrive sync issue it's nice and quick and will keep as my main OS and reimage when the updated ISO is released.

To fix the OneNote 2016 sync issue I had to set a static route. My workstation has two NICs. Both networks/gatways have internet access, disabling either NIC fixed the sync issue. Set a static route so all onedrive traffic goes through a single gateway.
